Membership Info and Fees
The primary purpose of IMAC is to assist emerging, mid-career, and established media artists in their production efforts by providing a pool of talent, resources, workshops, programming structures, equipment and space. Through these avenues we inspire interest in, and support of, all aspects of the media arts to a community that otherwise would find these forms of expression less accessible and less affordable.
PERKS OF MEMBERSHIP
get on our mailing list which is a great resource for jobs, festivals, events, grant deadlines, etc.. General members also may attend IMAC workshops at reduced rates. There are some pieces of entry level equipment that the general member may use to experiment with and advance their skills in order to get enough projects made to show that they are ready to become producer members. General members are are also invited to socials and the AGM where they can meet other more skilled members to learn from and perhaps be mentored by. General members are approved automatically upon receipt of the application form
Producer Members get everything General Members get BUT are eligible to rent all of the IMAC equipment (providing they have had the specialty training on our more advanced pieces of equipment). Equipment rented for personal, career advancing projects are at significantly reduced rates AND producer members may also rent for commercial projects for which the Producer members will also benefit from the higher level workshop and information sessions we provide.
Producers members must be approved by the IMAC board of directors. If you are interested in becoming a producer member you must submit the application form
along with your CV, a short bio and link to 2 of your films/media art works. Payment is required upon approval of your application.
